Step No.1 Thanks to our experience we recommend some tips to properly configure a Blu -ray player, video game console and HDTV, goodbye to long texts.
Note: some options may not appear as described in this guide.
Before you begin using video patterns to calibrate the TV, there are some options that will have to change in the Blu-ray, video game console and TV.
First you have to change the option “image settings” or “picture mode” on TV, image options can be: sports, cinema, normal, natural, etc. We must switch to expert mode option, user, manual or normal, to configure all the following options and calibrate the TV as explained in the next steps of this guide.
Picture and calibration settings for PlayStation 3
Video settings:
- BD/DVD- video output format (HDMI): Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr.
Screen settings PlayStation 3
- Filter to reduce interference cross -color: no.
- RGB full range (HDMI): limited.
- Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super-White (HDMI): no.
- Deep color output (HDMI): no.
If the PlayStation 3 is connected to a SAMSUNG TV, (maybe) had better:
Video settings

Screen settings PlayStation 3:

- Resolution: 2160p / YUV420.
- TV Size: (put the size of your TV).

- Output at 1080p/24 Hz: automatic.

Configuration image:
- 3D output setting: automatic.
- Setting screen size TV for 3D: (put the size of the TV).

- DVD aspect ratio: pan scan.
- Cinema conversion mode: automatic.
- Output video format: HDMI/automatic.
- Output BD/DVD-ROM 1080/24p: automatic.
- YCbCr/RGB (HDMI): RGB (this option depends on the television).
- Deep color HDMI: automatic (on occasions choose: no or off).

Settings display:

Display and Sound / Screen:
- Resolution TV: 1080p.
- TV connection: HDMI (detect automatically).

- Color depth: 24 bits per pixel.
- Color space: TV (limited RGB).

In the options Blu-ray player, they need to do the following settings:
TV format: 16: 9 original.
- Bd Wise: on.
- Resolution: automatic or 1080p.
- HDMI color format: automatic.
- Frame (24Fs): automatic.
- deep color HDMI: automatic.
- progressive mode: automatic.
- screen 1080p: 24hz (if 24Hz not available choose automatic or 60hz).
- HDMI color settings: YcbCr.
- Color RGB o YcbCr: automatic.
